FIRE’s mission as a regional community development entity is to revitalize significantly disinvested areas throughout Milwaukee, Kenosha, and Racine Counties. FIRE is focused on providing catalytic financing, project coordination, and investment of new market tax credit allocations for projects that provide economic impact. Investments in the service area are directed to benefit the community by meeting the needs of low income populations and disadvantaged businesses.
