Meta House, Inc. is a Section 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides comprehensive substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health treatment to women and specializes in treating pregnant, postpartum, and parenting women. Offering treatment in three settings, residential, outpatient, and a recovery housing community, Meta House aims to end the generational cycle of addiction by healing women and strengthening families. Currently, Meta House is one of the only treatment providers in Wisconsin to allow women to bring their children into the residential treatment program for simultaneous healing for both mother and child

Meta House, Inc received a $15 million New Markets Tax Credit (“NMTC”) allocation from FIRE for the construction of a $15 million new office building to support the expansion of Meta House’s operations (the “Project”). The NMTC financing will allow the Meta House to relocate its headquarters, supporting the overall growth of Meta House. Overall, the Project will allow Meta House to expand its administrative services to more suitably fit the company’s growth and create and retain quality and accessible jobs in a severely distressed community. The Project is part of a larger $35MM development thar includes the construction of an inpatient facility connected to the Meta House office building.
