The Project:
The Project used the NMTC financing for acquisition and construction costs for a new a high school serving grades 9-12. The high school’s current location served 392 students annually and the Sponsor anticipates enrollment to grow to 450 students annually as a result of the new location.
The Project expected to offer quality jobs in the community and serve a largely minority (90 percent African American or Hispanic) low-income population. All students are expected to qualify as low-income.

Jobs:
The project supported 69 full-time equivalent jobs, with 27% of those jobs going to minority workers. Further, 97 temporary construction jobs were created.
Community Impact:
The school serves 450 students, 100% of Cristo Rey students, all of whom are low-income, are accepted to college.
